Support for educational institutions on the Nineveh Plateau
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade supports the project which provides support to educational institutions on the Nineveh plateau with HUF 5 million. The staff of the Iraq-based office of the Aid Organization coordinated with the management of four schools about their supply of sporting goods and their basic needs, the goal being for the Aid Organization to contribute to the development of physical education for students at the institutions.
Renovation cost assessment of several outdoor sports fields awaiting reconstruction was carried out in 2019, however, the reconstruction works and the procurement of sports equipment for schools will take place in 2020. A total of 1,247 students and 80 teachers will receive support in 4 schools.
