Provision of protective equipment to hospitals in Transcarpathia
The COVID19 protective equipment support provided by the Hungarian government was delivered by HIA
to hospitals in Uzhhorod, Mukachevo, Vynohradiv, Tyachiv, Rakhiv, Khust and Irshava, as well as to the county hospital, the infectious disease hospital, the children’s hospital, the cardiology institute, the county ambulance service, to family doctors and to the retirement home of the Transcarpathian Reformed Church.
The shipment contained 75,000 medical masks, 25,000 FFP2 type masks, 1,000 protective glasses, 5,000 pcs. of protective clothing, 30,000 pairs of protective gloves, 1,500 protective caps, 1,000 pcs. of face protection plexiglass, 3,000 pcs. Of shoe covers and 5,000 litres of disinfectant fluid.
