Knitting and weaving training in Iraq
One of HIA’s development programmes in Iraq offers education to women in Qaraqosh and Bashiqa. They get the opportunity to learn how to knit, weave and make carpets; with this knowledge the participating women have better chances to get a job and help their families which leads to a better life on a long-term.
The project is funded by the Hungary Helps Programme.
